The film has already garnered critical acclaim after screening at Sundance Film Festival and South by Southwest and will be the perfect film to open on Halloween night.

Saturday of the festival at the Odeon at Liverpool One and will be called Docs Day, as all documentary films from the official selection will screen at that venue with Everyman continuing the programme of narrative features and short films. A highlight of Doc day will be the screening of Tommy Emmanuel: The Endless road, a biopic about one the greatest living guitarists and we are delighted to announce that Tommy will be attending the screening for a very special Q and A and live performance.

After a successful year at the Odeon in 2018 the festival is expanding to two venues with the addition of Liverpool’s newest cinema the Everyman Cinema, testament to the festival growth and development in just three short years. Situated in the stunning surroundings of the Metquarter the Everyman Cinema will be the perfect place to host this year’s narrative feature and shorts selection.

Director of Operations Neil Jeram-Croft says “our line-up this year is a fantastic showcase of film. We really have something for everyone, and we couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with both the Everyman Cinema and the Odeon to bring these films to the people of Liverpool. LIVIFF2019 is going to be a festival to remember.”
