Everton - Howard's Way: Gala Screening
On Saturday 2nd November Liverpool Film Festival in association with Odeon at Liverpool One, will be hosting a Gala Presentation of EVERTON - HOWARD’S WAY, a new feature length documentary about the legendary Everton manager Howard Kendall and his 1980’s team.
HOWARD’S WAY is the definitive story of Everton FC at the very peak of their powers in the mid-1980s. After a decade of struggle and misfortune Everton became the best side in the land. Winning the FA Cup and strolled to the league title with a record amount of points. They steamrollered the great Bayern Munich and won a first ever European trophy and, for a time, were probably the best side in Europe. This is the tale of a man with Everton in his blood. A team intent on greatness and a city united in defiance. A story told by all the heroes of the day - the men that made history.
EVERTON - HOWARD’S WAY was produced by an award-winning team for Toffee Films, Scampy Jones and Amarillo Blue. The team is led by producer/director, and lifelong Everton supporter, Rob Sloman, with executive producers Paula Crickard, Sarah Sloman and Philip Brown. This is Paula and Rob’s second feature documentary together, they produced the star studded rugby documentary XV Beyond The Tryline for Universal Pictures in 2016.
PLEASE NOTE: The screening is on Saturday 2nd November NOT Monday 4th as stated on the Odeon website. We are working to get this changed.
